Default Question ????

I just got the tracking numbers for the wheels and tires i just bought used! my question is that each box weighs 50 lbs does this sound right for 19x9.5 wheel and tires? i know the wheels weight about 28lb's but im having a hard time believing that the tires weigh 22 lbs!!

i know its a strange question, your input will be great!

A 19" tire can weigh up to 30lbs or more. A Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 in 275/30/19 weighs 30lbs.

If you check tirerack.com and go to tire specs you can see the weight of an individual tire.

If you were to ask me what a common wheel and tire combo setup weighs (any size that fits our car), I would say around 50 lbs... even 16, 17 or 18"... what you don't get in wheel weight, you almost always make up for in tire weight...
