Default Spacer Question

I just wondering where i could get a pair of 15mm spacers? Do they make the 15 mm spacer without the bolts already on it? If they do how does that work ? Does the stock hub come off in the front to put the spacer on

The reason I'm asking is because now i have the Supra breaks so if i ever want to go back to stock wheels i have the spacers.. Thanks

Spacer = no studs
Wheel adapter = attached studs

If you get spacers that are thicker than a few mm, then it is recommended that you replace your stock studs with longer ones.

Wheel adapters with attached studs should be a minimum of 15-20mm thick, or else they'll be too weak to support the attached studs. The benefit of wheel adapters is that they bolt right up w/o having to worry about changing the stock studs. Also, they're often made specifically for the car and are hubcentric.

Instead of machining the H&R 25mm adapters, you can get a set custom made: www.wheeladapter.com. I'd suggest emailing Fred at this site if you have any questions - he's been custom making them for years and has 3 CNC machines in his shop, so he knows his stuff.

So i guess i need 15mm wheel adapters in the front to clear my supra TT brakes? The wheel adapters have the studs which i need.. Then i take off the stock hup and put the new one on? Sorry I'm new to this

i am not sure if 15mm is enough to clear the supra brakes, only you will know

spacers, they come with studs where you replace the stock ones with

adapters, they have new studs in them already, you bolt it on the oem hub and then you bolt your wheels on the adapter

Romil is this what you are talking about... how does this slide onto the stock hub? also do i need hubscentric spacers? i would assume i just use my hub rings like i do with the stock hubs? This is really confusing me... Is there any pics that eplains this better?

this is an adapter. you put it on the stock hub. you see the 5 holes? they go on the 4 stock studs, and you bolt it on tight. and then you put your wheel on it afterwards.

you should get hub centric ones

np tony. what did you mean what you need? i think the adapter is the best way to go. get the 15mm spacer adapter from h&r (i believe they have adapter for that size? somehow correct me if i am wrong), they will come with all the nuts that you need.
