Can someone explain offset. Is that how far out the wheel sits off the axle or where the center of the tire is located compaired to the axle. Thanks. Remedial I know, but I am a noobie to this.

Default Offset

Rule of thumb. The higher the offset number the more tucked in the wheel will be.The lower the number the more it will stick out.As for the 45 offset that you are asking about, it should fit but it may look tooo tucked. The rear should be fine.Worst case scenario run some 5mm spacers in the front to bring it out.

Default check my homework

on minh's rear wheels

The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 14mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 24mm

Offset is the number in mm which represents the distance between the center hub of the wheel to the center line of the wheel width (half of the wheel.)
