Default Offset question

If a wheel has an offset of +42mm (rear) and a spacer of 15mm is needed to fit the IS-F (over caliper), how does this effect the offset of wheel?

for the same width wheel, the effective offset goes from +42 to +27. again that's on the same width wheel. if you are looking for a wheel with different width, then effective offset will change again
