I got pulled over the other day for having no front plate, cop also got me for being "to low", i told him i would be installing air pretty soon, (CUP KIT) im sure he assumed Air Bags because he told me " Just be sure not to slam your ride to the ground when you park well still give you a ticket "
That was pretty disappointing, I just dont see why cops give tickets to Parked cars that are slammed on Air, or on coils, but If your on Air i think thats an exception, i guess not.
Anyone have experience with this?
It might just be Socal since thats where cops are all ****
i think their basis for this is that if they wanted to tow your car, they wouldnt be able to if you are too low..hahah suckas...but i ride/parked slammed all the time.....i always planned that if a cop pulled me over for riding low..i'd just air up and say "officer what are you talkin about?"
wonder if i can make him think he's crazy..or if he's gonna call me on my bs. hahaha
no kidding...he'll throw a "modified suspension" ticket at you. My buddies tell me its gotten worse after I moved. My little brother got pulled over for his stock intercooler on his EVO. He told the cop that it was factory, still got a ticket for it.
WORD....that's stupid. ticket for parked too low...that's not a violation. He's just trying to make revenue for a BROKE *** STATE.
States have regulations requiring license plates or headlights to be within a certain distance from the ground. Its part of the vehicle equipment law and has no relevance to whether the car is moving or stationary.
We know driving low as some of us do is illegal, why would it be stupid for us to assume that because we aren't driving, our cars are somehow legal?
