Quick fender mod opinions needed..
Hey guys I just received some camera phone pics of the beginning of my fender mods. I need some knowledgeable opinions quickly about how you think it looks? Other comments are welcome as well. I am going to the shop in the morning and they want my opinion and feedback. So of course I am turning to the gurus.
i think it looks good, imo it looks better if the transition where the flat part meets with where it begins to flare out is smoth to acheive the more oem look but this is preference. either way looks like it will turn out great. nice wheels also

it looks like good progress but why get the fenders pulled so aggressively? do you have another set of wheels? are your offsets lower is the front? what is the goal? do you want to tuck rim or sit flush?
depends how they go about it from this point.
a lot of the japanese cats start like this then use fiberglass to smooth it out, followed by filler. i'd still like to see longer cuts to maike a smoother transition.
if they just weld it up and smooth it out without shaping it will be a hard line flair which won't look good on this bodystyle.
i agree that the metal has been pulled too drastically. have them bend it back a few mm.

Yes adding the drop at the end looks better depending on the car and overall execution on that particular car. If the car is going in a sportier direction, it can pull it off with or without the dropLooks great Automan

Posting a pic of someones car who is active on here and saying this is how not to do it is low
Especially when 9 out of 10 of your favorite vip cars in the states with fender work have them done the same exact way, go look at them (except with a whole lot more filler, I seen them in person)

co-signed with everything Agi said. I know you're "entitled" to you own opinions or whatever, but that was unnecessary to dog on an active member's car..........especially when it's gone through extensive work like that.

romeo, widebodyq, please exit this thread. Keep to the topic of Mark's fenders.
Maybe I didn't make it clear enough that the personal commentary back and forth needs to end.... next person who continues the argument gets banned from the VIP forum. Knock it off.
