Keep it 'simple' is the best advice for air suspension.

I Cant live without Air I'm starting another install next weekend on a BMW
I understand about about active lines like Fuel, Oil and brakes.... but why not Air??? I've seen it done many times... Why don't you recommend it???

What is the views of using stainless steel hoses in the tire well section for extra protection from punctures etc.??? Where have you guys gotten them fabricated/made???

I have mine on the inside... no problems. As for braided hose, it'll get pretty expensive. I'm using or rather am in the process of switching to hydraulic hoses. Suppose to be much more durable and much cheaper! They are rated at like a million psi! so that seams pretty safe for me!

naw LoL. they are a bit bigger than 0 awg wire and are built like a tire I guess with a THICK vinyl on the outside. IDK! LoL, its got like 6 layers including steal belts/brades. you can tie it in a knot and get no kinks in it. Its basicly the same hose they use for hydros or hydraulic lines for pneumatic machines. Its great for aggressive bends. Heres a bad pic of where I used to do the fronts:

Lots of pressure, anything can happen...dont cut corners by trying to do stuff the easy way. Its a bit more work to route and secure the lines the proper way...routing inside is qwick n dirty but it's not worth any added safety risks. If youve seen it done, 99% of the time it was a DIY project or a shop hack job.

up to u tho..its your car. We all have our level of 'acceptable' car modifications

as far as the stainless lines for the trunk well: uh, use grommets

- Drill the well with a step bit
- prime the exposed edges
- buy a grommet kit or jus find the right size based on the markings on tha step bit.
- silicone the primed holes
- pop in grommet
- run lines
