No, that's not what happened. Data center where the servers are has caught on fire. Servers are down, no ETA as of now for when it will be back up.

 

all this time I thought it was my computer having problems. lol.

 

Sounds fishy to me, my Q45 forum is also down.

this sucks i have been trying to get on for the last 2 days and no response. i hope that it gets back online soon.

Yeah Agi its crazy. I hope they don't have to rebuild the site from scratch, anyone know if they will have to?

This is the notice we received from our server host. And it does not have to do with bandwidth. Go search "ThePlant Fire, Houston".

Network Status

We have several servers down at our Houston datacenter. This is the result of a transformer explosion which has knocked out three walls. Fortunately no one was hurt in the explosion. All servers and data are in tact. The fire department is at the scene at this time. They are not allowing for the backup power plan at the moment.

This outage is affecting many hosting providers with 10,000 servers currently down at the datacenter as a result.

The estimated time the data center is providing us is mid-afternoon Sunday. Unfortunately these elements are outside of our control. We understand this can be frustrating and we thank you for your patience while we ride this out.

This sucks and especially is bad timing because we have a logo contest currently going on. As for rebuilding the site, they said servers are fine. It was just a transformer that blew up. No data was lost. Feel free to contact me via email mike@vipstylecars.com Thank you for your patience.
