Default Bags and Boost?

I did a search and didn't really find what I was looking for. My question for you guys is what are your opinions on having a bagged car that is also turboed?

Does anyone here have a bagged and boosted car? How well does it handle? Also how well would it handle to launching at the track? Let's say it's for a 93 GS300 that will be pushing about 450-500whp and have a bag over strut combo.

What's your thoughts on this? From some of the people I've asked they say No, and to just get coilovers.

Bags should be no problem but coilovers would be better. Otherwise combine the two and you'll have best of both worlds.

my GS is bagged and boosted....

it depends on the type of person you are. If you like to go fast then buy sum dampers, boost it and call it good

That's what I would love to have is both but for now I think I'm leaning more towards coilovers. I

Have you ever taken your GS to the track? Or do you mainly just cruise and hit boost a few times? How well does it handle?

bagged
on coilovers
boosted at 1 bar with 330PS.
Weekly runs at over 200KPH, nad heavy aggressive driving in the mountains on teh way to work.

as longn as you find the sweet spot for damper and bag,it iwll ride EXACTLY like coilovers

I boosted it 'just because', I guess.

I run it hard on the freeway but no track time or 'serious' driving.....Plus It has a ton of A/V stuff in it and huge rims

Dampers are best for performance/track driving

Theres really no way to determine a steady "spring rate" for rubber bags...VS steel coils. F/R weight ratio is outta whack with the tank and compressor...which r usually on one side of the trunk.
You can have slow leaks, uneven pressure,etc.,etc. Thats all acceptable when daily driving but could be a disaster if failing at the track

Plus, If its a track car you want balance and weight reduction.

My GS rides like stock pretty much...handles better the lower it gets. But it doesnt compare to my other cars on full Dampers.
