Default Wind noise on passenger side front door?

Hello, i was wondering if anyone noticed more wind noise on the passenger side front door versus the driver side?

I also have an RX, but i feel that i can hear the wind noise on the UX quite a bit more and much more on the passenger side front door.

I know the increase in wind noise in the UX is expected, but i was just curious why the passenger side front door would be considerably louder.

I am going at speeds of 65mph or more to notice it.

Thanks

I notice more wind noise from the driver's front door. Hopefully, there is a TSB for the wind noise issue.

Keep in mind the side glass is not sound laminated like the RX so you will hear a bit more wind noise in comparison.

For me, nothing unusually more than I expected. The bigger difference in wind noise comes from the cargo box I have, very noticeable at highway speeds.

if the driver and passenger side wind noise is equal i get it. But the passenger side just seems a lot louder.

Drove with a diagnostic tech and he acknowledged it. He tried to adjust some of the weather stripping but it did not help.

i thought i would reply with what I managed to diagnose and for Lexus to fix the problem.

So i narrowed it down the the passenger side quarter window panel. I taped it up and the sound went away, so i went to the tech and told them exactly what i did. They agreed that there was wind noise that was not normal.

They replaced the quarter window glass, seals and 2 rivets.

The sound went away.

But i still agree that wind noise on this model is high for a Lexus.

Owned a GS, ES, RX and IS before. Currently drive a RX and UX.

Owner's manual says front door windows are laminated glass.

not real loud but definitely noticeable. Since it’s the only window that I sit next to I’m not sure that it isn’t occurring at other windows.

If you look at the RX or ES for example, they have Lamisafe glass which is a dual pane glass with an acoustic center layer. The UX, CT, RC, and IS have a single pane (laminated) glass that provides less sound deadening.

did they replace all 4 doors? Or just for one?
My ux 250h it sounds as if the windows are open even driving at low speed.

spoke to my local dealership briefly, and they aren’t very helpful thus far.

I get it on the driver side door. Brought it to their attention the week I bought it and they said it's common for this model. So far that's been my biggest complaint.

I also get an intermittent rattle on the passenger side and the wind noise on the driver side is pretty bad.

Default Wind

I definitely noticed the wind noise coming from the drivers side. I’ve had the car just a few days and figures it was faulty. Maybe I should get it checked out?

Same issue. I am sick of my passengers asking me to "roll up the windows" when we are on the highway. The windows are all the way up!
I have been to 3 separate dealerships, all told me there's no issues. The last dealership is looking at scheduling a field technician from Lexus corporate to look into my car. I am hoping they have the adequate tools to diagnose and fix the issue.

See sound test from Cars and Drivers on the UX 250H, pretty good results.

If anyone has experience with getting this issue fixed, please share.
