Default Crosstraffic alert freaking out

I have an interesting situation and it is happening more often. I like to back into my parking spot but lately, the UX's rear cross-traffic alert is freaking out at any stationary object; car, pole, etc. Most of the time, I just get the audible alerts but yesterday, the emergency braking engaged and brought the car to a dead stop.

It also happened this morning but I get the bright red brake! warning message in the gauge and a slight pulsing in the brake pedal like it was preloading to engage the emergency brakes. Has anyone experienced this issue? The rear bumper is clean and free of debris.

RCTA are the sensors on the corners of your bumper. I would check to see if bumpers are aligned or if any pushed in the bumpers.

if everything else is working, then service trip to see whats up.
