How are you liking the Ironman tires?

 

Budget tire, budget performance. Decent dry grip, a bit noisy, but wet grip is terrible. Overall, decent value but if you drive often in wet highway conditions, avoid these tires.

 

I like the look. When you say you painted them darker, what did you use that you feel confident will be durable enough?

Light sanded first, then applied 2-3 coats of Dupli-Color paint. If I recall I needed 3 cans for all four rims. No noticeable chips though from past experience, I'm expecting 1-2 per rim over time.

Did your car have these Bridgestones? Tire Rack says these are original equipment and weigh 29lbs. If the whole assembly weighs 58lbs, the factory wheels should be 29lbs.

 

Totally off topic but OP I find it funny that your TireRack (assuming that's what you are using??) offers the wheel/tire fitment guide on the site, here in the US as of when I checked about a month ago, still said it was not offered to determine fitment.
