Lexus UX Aftermarket Wheel Thread
I live in France and I have a Lexus UX250h Comfort Business finish with ugly grey rims size 215x60 ET40 R17. I would like to change them and I found some nice Lexus RX F Sport rims size 235x55 ET30 R20. According to a website, these tyres are not suitable because they are too big. However, it shows me that the 235x40 R20 size is suitable for my UX. Can you please tell me if I can install them on my UX as I am not sure. If so, which ones to install?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Whoever told you that information is giving you false data.
I run the RX Fsport wheels on my UX with zero issues. I run 245/40/20 for tire sizing. Scroll up to see my photos.

C'est certain qu'avec ses dimensions, ca ne fait pas. Le 235-40-20 et le 245-40-20 pourraient théoriquement faire car ils sont dans la marge du 3%. C'est mon avis

You mean the information given by the website?
I saw your post and with its rims the UX looks very aggressive, I love it and want to do the same.
If I buy these RX450H F SPORT R20 rims with 30ET and put 235x40 R20 tyres on it or even 225x40 R20, it should be fine, right? Knowing that I am equipped with 215x60 40ET R17.
I wonder if it's homologated because here in Europe they are less lenient with modifications on vehicles. Thanks in advance for your help.

it does indeed fit. My rx f sport wheels are 20x8 +30 offset as well. Fits and turns at full lock just fine. It will rub on hard dips but normal driving you’re just fine. Sits flush with fender. Zero poke.

Others have run them too and have no issues. You'll be just fine, good luck and enjoy - post pictures once you get them on your car
The smallest tyres approved in France in R20 are: 235/40 R20. I am planning to buy the RX F Sport rims and put these approved tyres on them for my model. What do you think?
Finally, if I change my rims I will have to program the new TPMS sensors. Do you know how to do this?

I took some quick pictures this morning, one from right up top of the fender and one from the very back. You can see it doesn't poke out.
I would recommend 245/40/20 however if you run 235/40/20 you may have a slight chance less of rubbing. Either way, you'll be okay.
As far as changing TPMS, why not transfer the original TPMS from your factory 17" wheels to your new ones? Or, if you do get new ones, any tire shop/rim shop should be able to reprogram those for free (if you purchase the new TPMS from them). You can also buy a scan tool online and reprogram it yourself.

Concerning the TPMS sensors, I also thought of putting the ones that are on my current rims but it will cost me more to do that than to program the new ones because I believe that the rims I want to buy are already equipped with them. So I'm going to look for a specific tool so I can program them myself in the future. It's going to be an investment but at least I can do it myself in the future. Thanks for your ideas.
