Exclamation Help! Huge Coffee Spill

Had a passenger spill a large cup of coffee in my new UX yesterday. It got everywhere but mainly landed in the cup holders. By the time I was able to get somewhere to mop it up, it seemed like some of the coffee had dripped down into the space under the cup holders. Are there mechanicals in there that may be damaged now? Is there any way to remove the cup holders to see how much coffee is in there? Should I take it to the dealer or just not worry about it?

Pro tip: Ask for a double cup the next time you go to Starbucks

Unless you remove the console and clean it out, your car will remain smelling like coffee for a very long time. you might even need to replace the carpet padding underneath if any coffee saturated and dried in it. though if you like the smell, you might want to keep it. but i'm not sure about mold etc. any pics?

as for electronics, i'd venture a guess there's some down there. you'll want to make sure no airbag wires etc are affected, or other modules.

Sorry, no pics. Called the dealer service department and he said there are mechanicals under the cup holders but unless the car malfunctions in some way I should just live with it. Not too helpful. Car seems to drives fine so far.
