Default UX Aftermarket Wheels

UX Owners (and maybe even CT Owners), Have any of you put aftermarket wheels on your UX? I have the F Sport with 18 inch wheels, and am considering 20 inch wheels that are wider. Do larger wheels noticeably affect your ride quality? What wheels did you go with?

I went with Lexus RX F sport wheels (OEM, not replicas),

see photo here

I also came from 18" factory wheels. When I installed the 20" wheels, I changed out the tires to non-RFTs, so the ride quality not to mention the handling is far superior.

Any other questions, ask away.

Edit: I also used to have a '12 CT200h SE, that thing was sweet, when I put the TOM's lip kit on there and all that, regret selling it. Never put aftermarket wheels on it though.

I’m really digging that look! I would have never thought to use RX wheels!

How is your fuel economy been since then?

Are you concerned about them being non RFT?

also, what was the price and where did you go for the rear spoiler?

Fuel economy for me hasn't really changed in my opinion, of course the wheels are heavier but the difference is negligible in my opinion.

Here's a link to my post when I first installed, it gives the specs and whatnot: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ux-...in-guards.html
20x8
+35 offset
245/40/20 tires

I'm not concerned about them being non-RFT as I have a plug and repair kit with a small air jack in my trunk.

The whole kit I got as a set, it's from Aimgain, I think for the spoiler is about $625: https://www.topendmotorsports.com/le...-frp-11643.php

Did the bigger wheels increase your ride height? I’m interested in raising my UX a bit.

Hey @tofuprod , just curious, I'm planning on getting these same wheels (maybe the special edition IS500 19" wheels), but I'm curious if these rub at all when you turn?

full lock - no

heavy dips at higher speed - yes

How bad is it when you rub at higher speed? Is it like a kid who put 20" wheels on their civic or is it a slight rub? I really wanted to get these wheels until you said that lol.

slight rub.

big dip on highway at 70+ mph.

nothing bad at all.

like I said daily driving and normal driving habits it doesn’t even rub at all.

setup is perfect 😏
