Lexus ux300h droning noise

just purchased a brand new ux300h and since the day we bought it have noticed a "droning" noise coming from the engine. I'll try and attach a clip. Only happens when the engine is running under power (not on EV mode). Mostly at low speeds. Slight shaking on the gas pedal and a pretty loud and abnormal noise. It seems to go away when the outside temperatures rise to 15°C (60f). It still makes the noise even if the engine is warm, but seems more prominent upon startup and short trips.

We have taken it to our local dealer and they acknowledged it wasn't normal but couldn't find a solution. Thought it may be a loose bolt on the engine. Tried a few fixes but no change. Since then, they mentioned they had another similar unit making the same noise and they would investigate.

Now at our 1600km service, they mentioned the noise was "normal" based on what lexus has told them and it will not cause any issues. It does not sound normal. It feels like I'm driving a 20 year old car when it happens. And when it isn't happening the car is very smooth, quiet, exactly how it should be.

Wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. I'm temped to go to other dealers or contact lexus directly with some videos of the sound. See if it's common or normal. **If this is normal, I would have rather bought a 10 year old car for half the price without the issue!**

Mine doesn't make that droning noise. Maybe try taking it to another dealer or a local Toyota/Lexus mechanic to have them look at it.

Are you in sport mode? I've honestly never even put my 2025 UX 300h (currently >16k miles with zero issues) in sport mode, so this is just a suggestion of what it could be, but it could be sport mode keeping the CVT at a higher RPM and thus making that noise.

I also did feel like the car was overall buzzier when it was newer, and a lot of that has settled down. The gas pedal still vibrates some but not near the same levels as when it was new.
