Yes. Lexus' move to a more sporty LS460 (the LS500) was a retrograde step. Lexus has lost its way with its recent introductions. I, for one, don't want a 4 cylinder "luxury SUV" to replace my 25 year old RX300 (or a turbocharged 6 cylinder to replace my LS460)
And that is exactly why I ended up buying 2017 LS460 instead of newer LS500. All these new downsized cars with downsized engines just not cutting for me. Even my local Lexus rep admitted that the new LS500 is not as good as the old one.
