Default 2013 + Hollow Chamber Wheels

Does anyone have the approximate weight for the 2013 + hollow chamber wheels or any experience on how much better these are than the standard 18 inch wheels from pre face lift

They are far far better, the hollow chambers eliminate tire reverb noises. Weight is basically the same, lightest stock rims you can get are the F-sport BBK rims followed by the 18s

Thank you for the information. Do the hollow chambers reduce noise on bump impacts as well?

Having driven LS460s with and without these wheels, I don't notice any difference personally.

Thank you I have read your other post regarding difference in ride quality between 18s / 19s and agree with your thoughts unless the hollow chambers give me something special I will save the money

I don't know about quieter, how much quieter could it be? can only compare it to a 96 ls400.

Here are the fsport wheels.....58.4 lbs with19" Michelin x-ice snow tires.

I've read these are noise reduction also but I'm not sure, on Michelin all seasons and a bit lighter if I remember correctly.

The lower wheels are noise reduction, the F Sport wheels are not.

Then I can't notice any difference between the 2 either.

I also wondered the weight savings if any of the hollow spokes. As mentioned they probably use more material as the goal is the reduce noise rather than weight. Would love a set either way.
