One Big Beautiful Screen
The 14" screen on the Lexus is beautiful. It has a clean integrated look and great resolution. But when compared to older cars with, say a 7" screen, there is no additional functionality. It's just a larger version of the same thing.
I enjoy the stopped/low speed feature of the front camera and aerial view. But why does it need the entire screen? There is plenty of room to have those pop-up in a Picture-in-Picture (PiP) on the left side of the screen while still being able to see the map or radio. Also, being stopped is a good time to take a quick glance at your map or change the radio station, but the camera views use the entire 14 inches.

Bigger is better she said.
I personally don't like my infotainment system screen. When I drill down and find out information about my car I see four things as I take my car in for service. First, and I also see this on my steering wheel screen, is "Maintenance Required." Come to find out they are merely informing me to change my oil and/or rotate my tires. Okay, but why not say that, but I digress.
Here's the thing that gets to me: there are three items clearly indicated that do mean something. 1) Parking brake system. 2) Secondary collision brake system. 3) Advanced ultrasonic detecting and vehicle stability control. All three dated 07/02/2025.
My Service Advisor says they don't mean a damn thing. If it's on that big screen it means nothing. I say roar of ze bull! Then why have it at all?!!! Nope, if it isn't n the screen behind the steering wheel it doesn't mean squat he says. This really chaps my fanny.
I didn't even get into how I will be driving along in Android Auto and the system just reverts back to nothing, just factory screen. I have to disconnect the power cord from my phone and open up my phone, reconnect to the cord and hope it works again. Sometimes yes, many time no. Rinse Repeat. This can last for over an hour...or not at all. What a piece of garbage.
This infotainment screen fiasco is enough to never buy a Lexus again.
