Around 10k miles now getting intermittent noises and vibration around 4th gear and under load. Think it's in the front suspension because I can also get a variation of the noise at low speed when the car shifts its weight to the rear, that is also up front and to the right. Anyone having issues like this? I've been concerned about the pano roof seal popping up, and long-term reliability...now kinda pissed the car's suspension is suspect too!
BTW, I initially checked under the hood, looking for anything loose, and found the fuse box cover unlatched, and also this hose with what appears to be a missing clamp.
So I brought in my TX500h for the amp replacement (looking forward to listening for the difference) and asked the service department to check again for that noise and vibration. This time I drove with the service manager and he was able to hear and feal it, finally. He suggested there were two TSB fixes to try first. I will post the updates they made, which did not fix the issue. They were for the transmission and hybrid system.
So they put it on the lift and did an inspection underneath and found a torn hanger grommet for the exhaust. It's on order, so hope to have the car fixed and back next week. I will update you all then. Fingers crossed.
Oh, and the picture of the missing clamp? This is normal as the unused bracket if for other models to use.
Rubber hanger grommet replaced. All good now. It was torn where the arrow points. Not sure how it occurred as I drive on good pavement all the time and never ran over obstacles.
