Has anyone received an over-the-air update through their multimedia system? I've owned my TX since Jan 24 and have never seen one (and the system says there isn't one), which seems like a long time, and I just want to make sure that I'm not missing an update because my vehicle isn't able to retrieve them for some reason. Thanks for letting me know.
Thank you. I don't recall seeing this update. Perhaps, the dealer installed it when I came in for service. The USB method doesn't seem to work on the TX or at least not mine. Maybe because it's a usb-c port?
I doubt it, what format is your external?
I believe it requires fat32 and 2+ gb capacity
I followed the directions and it wrote a 024655db_update_by_usb.json file on my drive

The only two formatting options on my computer appear to be NTFS and exFAT (see attached picture). It's currently exFAT, 119GB.
I don't think those will work. MacOS can do it or might be windows apps that can convert it for you.
Someone else made this nice post also saying ntfs and exfat aren't compatible with lexus multimedia: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...errerid=433832
When I follow the instructions on Lexus' website, I don't see [Output info to USB memory] in the Software update menu window.
I've attached a picture of what I see in this window when I have my USB drive inserted.
Thank you for the information you shared. I was able to get the drive to work using the software suggested in the link and to check the software version, which turned out to be up to date.
The usb-c port certainly made checking the software version manually much more challenging.
You may be missing the regular FAT32 option because your drive is too large. You need to stick to a drive at or below 32GB for a more consistent experience of getting your OS to show the FAT32 option.
