I love my TX350
After seeing all the hate threads, I thought I'd come in to reflect the other side. Not much to elaborate on here: I've got a TX350 Premium and the whole family is very happy with it. 10k miles of around town and road tripping and nothing major to report. Much quieter and roomier than the replaced 2016 Audi Allroad. Good fuel economy (24ish, mixed). No apparent lack of power for the type of driving I do. What's not to like?
Nice to hear from you. I have around 10k miles on my 350 luxury AWD and I've been reasonably happy with it. We have driven from Charlotte, NC to Williams, AZ and back, as well as a couple of trips to Port Canaveral. The vehicle handles inclement weather admirably, and had no problem in the steep back roads of Arizona.
When our daughter was home for Thanksgiving, six of us went out to dinner in our TX.

I am another satisfied owner of a TX350 without a sunroof which is what we wanted. This is basically my wife's vehicle and what we drive on trips. We had it for 9 months and currently has 5300 miles on it. Previous owned 2016 & 2020 RX350. This has a smoother ride and more comfortable by me being 6'4". It does drives a bit larger which I expect and floats a bit more than the RX. The only complaints I have, it could use a larger gas tank for greater distance per tank, and to get better than 23mpg. Other than that, no issues driving through the Virginia mountains with the 4cyl turbo which was a pleasant surprise.
So nice to see some folks who aren't whining narcissists complaining about their own "feelings" on a rig they willingly bought and now are sad about.
absolutely love our TX.
16k miles on it with 10k of that a cross country road trip pulling a trailer and 6 adults in the car.
wouldn't have averaged 20 mpg doing that with any other vehicle in style and comfort.

Only two weeks and 700 miles in but we really enjoy ours. We had a ford edge before so moving up to a more luxury brand has brought quite the contrast. Today my wife and I realized how quiet the fan is!?!? The temp control feels almost like a mini split in how even and not noisy it is.
Im getting ours (wife's) on Thur. Have a few things planned for it and my wife can't wait. It's replacing a '22 GX.
Re: the owners with endless gripes, some are legit and cars have issues. A lot of others, they just have expectations that would likely never be met. They likely had the same level of complaints with their past cars.

the 98% of happy owners never go on a forum.
applies to all makes and models.
The TX is a perfectly fine/capable vehicle. It's a standard, modern Lexus. Their build quality has dropped across all of the model lines, as technology, materials and manufacturing continue to advance and become streamlined to meet modern acceptance and demand. If that makes sense. This happens across all brands, to a degree. Let's face it, in the end all Lexus's ARE Toyotas at their core, just wrapped up in attemot to make the models 'more luxurious'.
The most previous Gen GX is a tank compared to the TX. The TX has just picked up where Lexus failed with the RX 'L' line. It feels like a slightly larger RX. The new GX is nice, but our family needs have changed and my wife def was not into the re-design. Most people have not been, as their sales are down approximately 30% off of projections. They have slowed production to manage inventory. The only pop that GX sales had were due to the TX stop sale and the fact that people are impatient and shifted interest to the GX from the TX that they originally set out to buy/lease. I got great money wholesaling my GX, that was Leased too. 2 months shy of lease end, I took a check for $6k after they paid the buyout. I dont think that Lexus is ever going to sell a ton of TX's, but it does fit a niche in the market.
So, in the end, it really is not that comparable to a GX, aside from the 7 pass seating. One is a large SUV and the other is a midsized SUV.
