Need honest feedback on those w/ Spacers
Hi,
I'm looking at some spacers and have read contradicting feedbacks.
Some say they have OEM quality ride and others describe a little shaking or vibrating.
1)I'm looking for the size of your spacer(mm) and brand(H&R or other)
2)Which BBK it cleared(Supra TT,Brembo,Rotora,AP Racing)
3)How long you've had them
4)WHeel brand,size and offset (20x8.5 +44)
5)Any problems or issues encountered after install of spacers
Brief note about ride quality
Just trying to gather a base for all new and existing members that are thinking about going w/ spacers.
Thanks in advance.
btw; This could be a sticky if replies are generous and broad......

2. 6 months, previous VW almost year and half
3. RPM one piece cast 19x8.5 +38ET no spacers, 19x9.5 +38ET 5mm spacer puts me at +33ET ( still about 4mm space left to play with w/o any fender mods) I'm running 275x30x19 at rear Dunlop Direzza tires
4. No problems if properly installed, meaning: before you install spacers make sure that brake disc face is cleaned and free off rust (very important) this is a major reason why people have problems with vibration. Don't forget about longer wheel studs!!!! After instalation you'll be required to have 7 full turns on lug nuts - MANDATORY
5. H&R is superior in quality, no question about that

I hear so much good and bad about spacers.
I visited a couple of wheel/tire shops and they basically say that sometimes they have customers who have problems. The only major concern would be that the spacers could shorten the length of the studs causing the lugs not to tighten enough.
Although , many people put them on and have NO problems what so ever. I would assume it all has to do with the wheels, tires, and car. Every application will differ.
