Brake problems (pins on caliper won't go back in)

Brake problems
i went to replace my brake pads today since it was making some noise and notice that on the drivers side rear brakes the pads were unevenly worn, didnt think much of it untill i could get one of the pins in the caliper bracket to go back in. Any suggestions on how to get it back in or will i have to buy a new caliper bracket? Can i just buy a bracket and not the whole caliper assembly? any help will be appreciated

Clean the pins and regrease it with high temperature grease. The pins should be sliding in/out without problem once clean. Make sure to clean both pins top and bottom. remember to put it back in exact location. I think the top pin doesn't have the rubber bushing (O-ring)...

ok but the bottom one wont move at all, i put a wrench to it and it wont twist at all......how do i get the pin out if its rusted in like this?

This means that you paid $2000 for nothing. The dealer rip you off.
You can do this by yourself at home. Get some brake fluid, WD-40, high temp. grease and breaker bar. Make sure the car is on Jackstand on both side before start working on it.
Is this the front or the rear brake? The front brake pins might have rubber bushing on both top and bottom pins. The guy that change your brake didn't take the pins out to clean and re-grease it. You need to clean and re-grease both front and rear brake.
Spay some WD40 into the pin and use a breaker bar (12" long) and hammer and try to turn the pin until it lose enough to pull the pin out. The pin might get twist from the process so buy new pin and new rubber bushing and the rubber boot. Better yet buy two new bottom pins for both sides if they are stuck now. 4 rubber boots and 2 rubber bushing.
If you can't do it from the car, take the caliper out and work the pin lose from outside. This mean you will have to bleed the brake when re-install the caliper back.

ok thanks for the help.....ill try using WD40 and a break bar....I read that u can use a blow torch on it but it didnt explain if it was just to heat up the slot so the pin came out or what u were suppost to do to it....anyone can explain this for me it would be nice.....Also can i use a impact wrench to get it out?

I don't want to use heat because it might hurt the internal of the caliper.
Yes the impact wrench would be good if you have one available. The pin will be twisted by the time it come out so order new one now (take a few day for delivery from Carson Toyota)

With the rear pins stuck like that, the front are stuck also. You need to clean all pins in all four calipers to get the brake padel feel back like before.
Buy all rubber bushing for the pins, front and rear, all rubber boots two for each caliper, 8 total. You can also order the brake hardware (the things that stuck in the caliper next to the brake pads) for the next brake pads job.

I broke the front caliper bolt off in the slide on my 92 SC. In a bind, I went to the toyota dealer next door
and got a caliper pin for a 92 Camry V6 and it was exactly the same!! I got very lucky that day, got my
car back together and didnt have to order anything.

i always forget to put those back in and have to take the wheel off again and put them back on, i think if you dont put them back on your will get excessive wear on the pads, it will only take you a couple mins to put it back, i think its worth it to put it back on though.
