Default Sway bar

Hi I was talking with a buddy and we were talking about possibly installing a sway bar for tighter steering on my 2013 GS 350 I know they offered an upgraded F sport one for the IS but am unsure if they do for the 4GS. Does anyone know if it is even worth it to replace or upgrade the sway bar or if Lexus offers an oem upgraded one? Thanks.

For the GS RWD, the 2016 model year got a thicker front roll bar with the part number ending in 30840.
In the 2018 model year, the GS RWD got a thicker rear roll bar with the part number ending in 30571.

How do I know the new front roll bar was actually a few millimeters thicker?
Because it did not fit on the older brackets!

Does a thicker anti rollbar gives tighter steering feel? I know i can feel the same after changing to the GSF front LCA bush....

It is more beneficial for cornering than tighter steering.

Most tend to get the GSF front lower control arm bushings. I opted for the RR Racing poly bushings and that significantly improved the steering feel and tightness. You feel it even more when in S+ mode. Just gotta lube them up every so often but they are far different than the GSF rubber bushings. And correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the F Sport got thicker sway bars front and rear compared to the base trim models.

I have the super pro rear bar installed on the stiffer setting and its great. It doesnt directly effect the steering, it helps the rear end rotate so that when youre exiting a corner the rear comes around really easily (cuts out understeer feeling). it also helps keep the weight of the car from feeling like its gonna push you to the outside of a turn, you can really wrap the car through turns with an "on rails" feeling. Theres an overall sharpness added to the car when changing directions and less body roll.

Looking to potentially update my 2014 sway bars to the newer versions. From what I can tell, the brackets are the same but the bushings and bars are different part numbers.

Does anyone know if the part numbers for the bars include the bushings as well? I can't seem to tell from the diagram photos that they use online.

And would I need to order 2 bushings for front and rear or do they come as a set?

Front Bar: 48811-30840
Front Bushing: 48815-24100
Rear Bar: 48812-30571
Rear Bushing: 48818-30260

Curious if you completed the sway bar upgrade and if it fit? Any issues if so?

I don’t see fitment being an issue, they use the same brackets, just different bushings and bars.

My biggest question is whether or not it’s with the $220 upgrade. Does anyone have any experience in driving before and after?
