Default KYB Extage Kit Reviews?

My GS350 F-sport has blown struts in the rear and I'm looking for an aftermarket replacement since my car is now out of warranty. I haven't seen much info on the KYB Extage kit since it's mostly from Japanese websites. I saw a few threads back in 2014 but nothing since. I'm surprised this kit isn't more popular since it retains AVS compatibility and provides a mild drop.

Has anyone had any personal experience with these?

I ended up taking a chance and I ordered the kit from rhdjapan. Everything arrived to my door in about a week.

I haven't had a chance to get an alignment yet, but so far the car rides like on stock suspension. Sport and Sport+ modes still function as they should. Car sits about an inch lower.

I'll snap some pictures soon once the weather clears up here.

Highly recommended for those who don't want to commit to coilovers on their daily drivers.

I can't tell if this setup is for AWD or RWD. What do you have?

RWD.

Here are a few pictures of my setup. A little lower than factory, but not a significant drop. With OEM wheels and factory sized tires, there's about two fingers width of wheel gap.

this is amazing; exactly what i want; a spring and shock matched set up that offers a mild drop and retains avs functionality for a reasonable price.

Lol maybe not vs RWD, but versus an AWD thats dropped quite a bit, on my F-Sport AWD I can just about put a closed fist on top of the tire!

Your setup looks nice, btw.

This should be the stock height coming out of the factory. Looks good man.
