It's a bit harder on the tires without rotation ability, but are there other reasons you don't recommend it?

Staggered setups have a better straight line traction and stability, but promotes understeer quite a lot so. Also read that a lot of people who track their cars use square set ups due to their balance.

Interesting, hadn't heard either of those before. It at least makes sense if you can't break the back end loose as easily it'll take away some control of oversteer. Since my driving is usually far away from the performance envelope of the car, it's more about looks. Almost anything I change on the tires will improve my performance, the Dunlops on the car aren't the stickiest.

Default Swift Springs

Hey socialnet-

Im in Sac too. Do you have a shop in mind to get the springs installed too? Im thinking of getting the Sprints too.

FYI. I found some on ebay for $300 shipped. No tax on ebay so itll save a few bucks.

Let me know. I want to get them done, but dont know a good shop in Sac.

Thanks!

Hey! Haven't gotten that far yet, just putting together a list i plan on doing to the car and this is a major one. Gonna yelp a few shops and see what they all say. If you find a reasonable one let me know and vice versa.

Does the handling (cornering, stability under crosswinds) get noticeably better in the 4GS when the car is lowered using any of these springs? Perhaps this question is more relevant to those 4GS that do not have a Sport+ mode or are not driven often in the Sport+ mode.

I'm curious about the swift springs as well. Has anyone switched from the tanabes to the swift? if so what did you think about it?
