Need Advice: Tein S Tech Springs + Vossen Concave CV1's
So i'm about to buy some CV1's
Wheel specs: 20x9+38 and 20x10.5+42.
Tires recommended 245-30-20(F) and 285-25-20(R)
Problem is that I will be on Tein S-tech springs as soon as this dude can get some free time to install em for dirt cheap.
Problem: Rear Fender will prolly be rubbing.
Questions: How much fender work will I need to do? Can I do this fender work myself? How much will this fender work cost?

Oh yeah Nitto Invos do come both in 235/30 and 275/25 now. Opened a new door for everyone who wants tires that are to spec.
To OP, I would run that combo if you have the money. No one with Nitto Invos have complained or from what I've read online. The CV1s that were on my car has 245/30 and 285/25 tires, had some rubbing but keep in mind I shaved the rears and am prolly a lot lower then what you will be on springs. A slight shave in the rear should fix your problem. Might want to run a spacer in the front as well.

I dont think i could afford them cuz i still need $ to buy TPMS which i hear will be about 200 for a set..
my costs totals would be vossen cv1's/tires/tpms..I'm not tryna spend more than 800-900 on top of wheels
PS where can i find these 235/30 275/25 tire combo? I see tire rack.com doesn't even sell 275/25

Lead Lap
245/30/20 and 295/25/20 are the exact same diameter...and will keep you at spec...25.8"

My goal is to be lowered on Tein S tech springs, have the Vossen Concave CV1's on, have no rubbing, while not forgetting about safety, and getting tires + tpms that will be under $1000
So any more suggestions?

absolutely can NOT run this setup. front and rear different overall diameter. it will throw off the awd system, not good

20x10.5 (rear) + 295/25/20...I think that would cause rubbing on a 06 GS awd lowered on tein s-techs

Yup, I'm really thinking hard about going that way or not. I'm on 235/30 and 275/30... it looks like crap due to the "lift" the rear tires give off. Not to mention the sidewalls are completely different.

Thanks everyone for the input. Pulled the trigger and went with 245/30/20 285/25/20 to go with the concaves.. Will most likely just do some fender work. Hopefully all it will be is taking that black cosmetic strip off!
special thanks to Rominl for everything! He's the man!
update: prolly wont need to do fender work, but i'm already thinkn of goin lower (coilovers in future?!?) then having to do fender work
