coils recommendations
hello,
I'm deciding to get coils for my car but need help from you pros on which one's to get b/c im a noob about which 1 is better. I was ganna get springs but attending minimeets they told me that its better to just buy coils. So far the Tein's are the most popular i see around any reason why? I have a gs 07 350. I don't want any coils that lessens my cars performance in any way
Thanks For reading!!

well its going to effect the ride bottom line. the suspension will feel a little bit stiffer and it wont ride like factory any more. you can get it close with the dampening but it will still be slightly stiffer.
as far as i know for the rwd they have tein, tanabe, jic and bc coils all available (i could wrong since im not to familiar with the rwd suspension support). from what ive seen tein has been the popluar choice. i would assume because of the name brand itself being very reliable and the fact they are approx 1/2 the price of what jic coils cost. also tein does have the edfc option which is very nice.

most of the time coilovers will improve the handling of the car, and better than springs too. tein is a common setup since it's reputable and priced reasonably. if you want a bit drop, tein is good, but it doesn't have a lot of drop capability. if you want to drop your car a lot, you will want something else
Tein isn't too bad, popular choice, doesn't go too low though.
Tanabe and JIC are alright, JIC's are nice but a bit more expensive.
BCR makes a nice coilovers for a nice price. Plus you can really slam the car if whats what you're looking for.

if i was just thinking about dropping my car about 2 inches...welll im not sure but somwhere around that. the coils are readjustable so thats another reason i want them.. tein has alot of different options they have sports comfort and other stuff. and there is a sst one i was thinking of getting those....
