I guess I never understood why people buy these type of mods for a Lexus GS. I just don't understand why people buy a car that is not meant to be driven in that manner, then go about replacing half the suspension to get it to handle better. It isn't a sports car...
If you wanted that sort of vehicle, you could have purchased a 5-Series and saved yourself a lot of modifications

I think there are a lot of people here, including me, that would disagree with you. With all due respect, to start, this car is no more/less a sports car than the standard 5 series, exclusive of the M. And that leads to my 2nd point, the M line of vehicles are just modded versions of what we do, except that it's produced by BMW. Seeing as we don't yet have that option from Lexus, there are available modifications to personalize a vehicle... and last, but certainly not least, if Lexus didn't feel there was a demand for it, they would not have spent the R&D money on a series of F-sport accessories for our vehicles....I, for one, am glad there is finally an OEM line of accessories to add some personalization and performance to these vehicles.

My 2GS to me just felt more solid even driving straight at the speedlimit when it was modified.

F-Sport Sway Bar
Does anyone know if the F-Sport sway bar is available for the 3 Gen Lexus GS? I thought F-Sport equipment for GS was supposed to come out after June 1. If it has, can you please provide me a link to where I can purchase it?
I think the only F-Sport sway bars I see is for the IS...
I tried looking at the Sewell Lexus and they have 2 Different Sway Bars...
One is designated for the 2006-2008 IS (http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/par...d=197102&all=Y) but this one doesn't have information on what vehicle its for...

I am ordering mine tomorrow . I want to get them installed ASAP. Finally a car with Lexus looks, quality, customer service, but will at least handle like an infiniti. A nice set of sway bars is exactly what this fat girl needs

In short the sway bars will reduce how much your car leans when going around a corner. If the car remains flatter it #1 inspires confidence, and #2 will give you more grip at the limit because the vehicle weight will not be transfered as fast
Its a no brainer mod. It doesnt affect ride quality and gives you better handling. The only negative to thicker sway bars is if you go off road, or you drive over lots and lots and lots of speed bumps

I guess I have a similar question, if we DO have AVS is the 2006 GS430 but we are replacing the suspension with F-Sport shocks and springs, can the sway bar fit then?
