Default Tein SS ride?

I'm currently thinking about ordering some coilovers, and was wondering if any of you guys could tell me how the Tein SS rides? Does it make the ride much worse due to it being designed for performance?

you will be able to adjust this. if you are worried about the ride the go with the CS instead. I would go with the SS if I where you as it allows the car to go lower and offers more of a sport tuned ride then the CS does.

The SS' are the entry level coilovers that Tein offers. It's a harsh ride due to the shock valving and spring rate. If you are looking for something more compliant, the CS is the way to go. I may have a set for sale soon.

i don't care if ss is designed for performance or not, i just know it rides very stiff (at least to me)

like flipside said, it's entry level and the spring rate is very high. tein cst is good for me, i want soft ride for my car

True +1 If you dont like it stiff I recomend CS . I on the other hand don't mind I actually like the stiff ride . And if this was my daily I Would have went with the cs . I went the ss route so i can slam the car if i want

I have to say the CST will give you the lexus ride, but the lexus handling as well. In the end we are not driving track cars so comfort, imo, would rank pretty high. I think the softer CST with a set of thicker sway bars would give us the best of both worlds
