After so many DAMN headaches holy ****. stripped threads. Seized bolts. tools that didnt fit. all the trial and Freakin error. finally lowered. my honda was so much easier than this Bitch. but it was worth it.
overall im happy with the Tien Flex coilovers. They really feel good. it was sent at 19 clicks on the adjustable shock. i lowered it and currently Have it set at 10 clicks soft. it rides better than my stock suspension. ive been trying to figure out a vibration/shakey feeling while driving or like kinda wanders on the freeway and a clunking noise/feeling when i turn the steering wheel or going over my driveway at certain angles. ive changed the lower ball joints, the sway bar bushings, the big lower control arm bushings and the endlinks. all have changed how it felt driving but there was still something wrong. Like a wandering kind of feeling on the freeway. like it was just feeling squirrely. i put the coilovers on, got a alignment and the shakey/squirrley/wandering handling has gone away even the clunking noise/feeling. Maybe one of my Shocks were blown. It feels just so much better like my car has gained back my trust in how she handles. there still is a slight vibration but probably because my tires are almost 7 years old and i gotta clean the surfaces of the wheel hubs/behind the brake rotor. but still, its Nice just to cruise on the freeway and not have the feeling of wtf, y do i gotta MONKAsteer. lol. look up that GIF thats exactly how it felt like. i do plan on keeping these wheels and get some wheel spacers. if anyone has some recommendations that would be great. maybe 10mm in front 15 in the back? i dunno. i wanna keep it simple and OEM.
heres the Boat picture i mean the before picture.
after
From the ground to the bottom of the fender its sitting at 26in rear and 25.5in front. im probably gonna go 1/4 inch lower in the front tho
im gonna do a rolling video shot tomoro to see how it looks while driving. so stay Tuned!
also maybe Mods can change the thread title to Tien Flex coilovers? Or Druu's Build thread and move it to the Build/members ride section? that would be cool.
