Default TRD brake system?

Well I'm new and I have alot of questions so here goes one of many. I searched the other posts but can't find any info on the TRD brake kit for the GS400. Has anyone ever tried it or using it currently? I really would like the Brembo kit but don't want to spend $3000 on brakes when the TRD kit comes with everything front and rear, including stainless steel lines for $1400.
Secondly, I seem to be getting alot of road noise from the floor of the car at speeds of 80 mph or greater. I still have the stock 17 inch tires on the car (Goodyear RSA) and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to reduce the noise such as dynamat the floor etc. I plan on running some 19" wheels when I get the funds together and I realize that this will increase the noise but I want to keep it as low as possible.

mind sharing with us where you found the TRD kit for $1400 front and rear?

there are actually two TRD set ups: one is from Supra TT set up, and another is from the LS430 set up

either one is great

thanks

I think he's talking about the Supra TT setup. But then again, for $1400 that would have been too expensive. A TRD setup would have set you back over $2000. Where'd u get the hookup bud?

TRD sells several big brake sets.

TRD Japan has basically 2 sets for the GS, the low-cost range, which are the ones you are now referring at, and the Monoblock set.

In addition, TRD USA is also repackaging the Stoptech.

I just checked. TRDUSA is probably only offering the (StopTech) bigbrake for the IS300. Could not find any info on a GS Bigbrake kit from TRDUSA.

I think the design of the IS and GS brake pads are the same, and both use the same calipers, pads and rotors.
I expect that the brackets might be a little bit different tho. Probably because of marketing reasons TRDUSA did not introduce (or forgot to post on the website) the TRD"Stoptech".
Probably most people with GS will go for the Supra TT, while these Supra calipers need to be modified a bit before they fit an IS.

Unless the GS people upgrade their wheels, the Supra TT calipers won't work for them either.
