Had the car on the ramp this has a movement on both rear sides one more than the other..is it a big job or and easy way😁
Hi all any advice on how to remove and refit this knuckle arm bush.. my apologies if I wasn't allowed to do this screen shot from eBay. This was the best way to show what I mean..
Is it worth changing any other bushing whilst doing this the rose knuckle had another bush aswell.. I think they call a rose knuckle in U.K not sure in the states..
I've never changed that part on mine, but as difficult as it was back in 2011 to find a part I doubt it's easier now. A pulsating brake pedal could be so many things it's unlikely aside from luck that it could be diagnosed virtually with such little information. If the above picture is your car, most the bushings are probably well worn if not worn out. So replacing any of them would probably leave you better off. With that said, a pulsating brake pedal is most frequently tied to warped rotors. If you haven't done a full brake job on the car with fresh rotors, I'd start there. With more information from you it's possible you could get some additional help from forum members to diagnose / advise.
Hi Thankx for the reply front discs and pads have been changed few weeks ago, calipers and pistons all good, rear discs and pads have been checked and plenty left on them. Suspension has been checked thoroughly I was present at the time when it was done. The rear discs and pads have been advised as good.. so not sure we're to start first🤔
If discs have been replaced that recently you can probably rule that out. Can you give more input on the symptoms?
When does the pulsation start? Does it happen everytime you hit the brake? Will it pulsate when you're not even moving? Does speed play a factor? Does it feel/sound like the ABS system? Does it sound/feel like the pulsing that often you hear when you first start your car up when the braking system is building pressure?

Hi everytime I brake it happens. no pulsate when not moving. It happens at all speeds. It's not like the building pressure when first start the car. It feels as though it's two plates going at each other in opposite direction definitely not smooth braking
