Default GS300 Godspeed coilover problems

Hey guys , so yesterday my friend and I installed Godspeed Mono ss coilovers on my 2004 GS300. It looked good and I didn’t slam it too much. BUT ride was too soft and bouncy. I was touching my tires non stop every time a car bounces and I feel like it was more bouncy and softer than on the stock suspension. I adjusted the dumper stiffest possible but still the same issue. We did not adjust the preload because I thought it comes with adjusted preload from the manufacture. At the end of the day had to take my new wheels of and put stock ones on. Please if anyone has any experience with these let me know

Given that those are about the cheapest coilovers you can buy you shouldn't expect high quality. Regarding the preload I have never heard of that being adjusted from the factory. Try to adjust the preload to the proper amount and try again.

Those are cheapest of the cheap coils. You get what you pay for unfortunately. GS are some big heavy cars. What is the spring rate for those coilovers?

Car looks good though, the bmw wheels are actually a good look. Dont tell your car they are on it, It may feel the need to break something or start leaking from somewhere

i bought some used Godspeed Coils after my 40k miles Tein CS finally blew and leaked. Spring rates are 10k/8k which are really soft but believe it or not my Teins were the same rates.. These are just Temporary until these blow then i'll get some BC's.. nowadays i just drive the GS around town but these are definitely soft.. I'd consider CXracing 16k/14k as another option.

If it's bouncing, the shock absorbers are too soft for the spring rates. Not unusual for cheap stuff with high rate springs, but 10/8 is pretty mild. Maybe they're blown. New or used?

also, regarding preload:
Prior to installation, verify all hardware and properly tighten and spring preload is set to 5-10mm(1/4-3/8in). Our technical department is available to answer any other questions.
