Haven't been here for a few years, now my son has the 02 gs300. He has a clunk which the stealership said is the upper control arm (i put Daizen bushings into it years ago). Besides OEM how are any of the generic brands (moog acdelco, mevotech etc)? I am looking at the ones at rockauto. TIA

I hear bad things about the Daizen bushings. They were really popular, now a lot of people that installed them are having bad clunks and pops, don't stand up to the test of time. Most your selections from RockAuto are good. Even their so called, economy section when you look at various parts. Because I am a RockAuto shopper, I have found Mevotech to be of great quality. They are usually cheaper than Moog and I haven't experienced any issues in sever vehicles I've used them on. I have also started ordering more and more from the economy section because I've come to realize, RockAuto really doesn't sell junk. I put new brake pads and rotors on all cars I flip. I use to be all about the Centric posi-quiet pads and premium rotors. But I tried the economy Centric c-tech line of both pads and rotors. They are outstanding at a fraction of the price. Still servicing that one as it comes into my shop. Nice smooth quiet braking. I've put them on a few cars now and no complaints. Even my girls E60 530i. Long story short, you can get pretty much anything from Rock and it will work well and save you money going economy route, I know this from experience now. Just never cheap out on electrical components like MAFs.
