Default New here, need help with LSD 2001 IS300

I need to get the piece that slides into the differential that allows the axles to connect to the differential. I also have an open diff and those came out fairly easy but I can’t figure out how to take them out on the LSD differential. I’m using the same method as I did when taking those pieces out on the open diff and made sure to stop hammering once I figured they aren’t coming. Some help on how to do it would be nice cause I can’t find any information online except for on an open diff.

maybe a little late - but it should be the same from the LSD and open differential - you need to use a slide hammer to pop them out.
was the LSD pulled from a wrecked car? should the shafts be slightly tweaked making it harder to pop out?

They are the same shafts and removal method for both open and LSD for sure.

Good luck.

Those pieces are held in place by a small c clip. Pop off the 2 c clips inside of the diff and the stubs should come off
