According to that link the springs are listed under future plans meaning the pics don't include them being on?
I'm a mechanic so I don't have to wait for a guy heh... Just have to wait for free time. I'm honestly hoping to do it next weekend. If not then in 3-4 weekends. But with a kid and gf you never know what's going to pop up.
The rears will certainly go up for sale if I'm happy with the fronts.

True that, haven't seen any further pics, so it could well be stock still. I think that's the only AWD 350 that's mentioned them that we've found.
Yup, looking for what most of us want -- the top gap to be the same front and rear
I thought about Halfs, but the few AWDs I've seen that have put them on haven't shown much difference, and haven't evened-out with the gap at the rear. But hey, it's rather "unknown territory" so we're blazing that trail. Another option would be trying RWD Downs or Supers to see if/how they differ. Ultimately we should put on what was engineered, but the fact of the matter is that the vast majority of people do springs for appearance, not performance.
Just jumping back into this thread since it's my project for this spring season as well now that we're all thawing out. I wonder if a lot the halfs we've seen attempted on AWD looks that way because they put in front and rear, which kept the rake. Curious to see how his efforts with just the fronts are with half downs and nothing in the back. I think the three of us are looking for similar, minimal drop, really just trying to balance out the front and rear wheel gaps.
The options as I see it without going coils are: front only downs, front only halfs, or (and I think this is the most likely scenario based on my estimations) front downs and rear halfs.
I just did the half downs front only on my 16 awd fsport. Very disappointed to say the least. Didn’t do much of anything...if I were to install the rears the rake would be hideous. I’m likely going to purchase the awd downs for front and install the half downs for rear. Waste of money for just a simple spring swap but coilovers are overkill for my application and the “as is” is unacceptable to me.

Any pictures of the halfs in the front on your AWD?

Did you take before and after measurements? How long since they were installed? Did it drop at all?
Doing my halfs in front tomorrow, hopefully my outcome is better hah...

I can try to get pics tomorrow but I assure you it’s meh. I read all the old threads on here and thought my car would be different but it wasn’t. The rwd half downs on the awd leave a lot to be desired. Been about 2 weeks and they have settled to a bit over a 2 finger gap in front. My rear with stock springs is a tight 2 finger gap.
IMO getting half downs was never worth the money since it wasn’t going to change the lowering amount enough. The way I saw it was if I’m going to pay for brand new springs I’m going to pay money for ones that actually show a difference over some that most likely wouldn’t. I contemplated the half downs at first too but went with the downs.
Absolutely if your goal is to lower your car the half downs will never be enough. What me and certain others are saying is we don't want to lower our car, we just also don't want the front fender gap to be 3/4 of an inch larger than the rear one.
I've got ridiculous ocd and if I can even slightly reduce it it'll make me happy, and that's my life's goal to be happy.

Yeah, unfortunately coilovers are the only option for that. But between half downs and downs, I’d definitely do downs.
Got my front half down springs on today.
So far I think it's just about perfect. Dropped almost half an inch which is exactly how much I wanted.
Both front and rear(with 3/4 tank of gas) measure 25 5/8 from the ground to the fender now, before the front measured 26 1/8-26 1/4. As long as they don't settle too much I'll be happy.
I installed rcf lower control arm bushings at the same time so it's hard to really talk about the ride quality of justjthe springs but I can say with the bushings the ride is still pretty much just like stock but turning the steering back and forth quickly like a slalom or doing quick lane charges feels much much better. That's likely due mostly to the bushings.
The thickness of the coils is the same as stock +- 0.05mm so spring rate must be very close.
All in all I PERSONALLY think it's worth it, obviously if you're looking to drop your car or anything like that then it's not. I'm sure most people won't agree with me but that's ok.
I could have sworn I had before pictures, turns out I don't do I either never took them or deleted them. This is the best picture of my car I can find that shows the front vs rear fender gap.

Excellent, thanks! The drop looks perfectly balanced on yours, congrats.
But I see you don't have an F-Sport, and also have different rims. What size rim and tires, including widths, are the ones you have on now with the springs? Perhaps it's that, but it appears the difference in suspension components between F-Sport and non is a definite factor. To wit, from Mike above:

This is exactly what I expected -- minimal difference on 3xx AWD F-Sport from Half-Downs (and probably why RS-R doesn't specify them). But if mine drops too much I'm gonna come knocking for your rear Halfs, Mr. Mexicanzer

Glad to know we all have company!
We already know front-Super and rear-Down works, getting closer to the answer for the rest of us who simply want that gap fixed.
