I cannot recall any hard vibration. Maybe just a lil at over 90 MPH.

Did you have your tires balanced? This is very important. With larger size rims, I've noticed that the alignment gets taken out of whack real fast. I have to get a alignment everytime I go to the dealership to get a oil change. I end up doing the alignment about 4 or 5 times a year.

I think he indicated he had the tires/ wheels balanced many times.

kdubb, recently i temporarily used a set of Lowenhart 18s and after several balancing attempt finally managed to get the rid of the vibrations. I think the mounting with centering rings had a negative impact on the balancing...maybe wheels were not seated properly...just a guess....if the wheels are not bent (which should be noticed during the balancing)..the problem lies on the car side..not the wheel/rim side of the equation.

as posted previously, ive had them balanced MANY times.

im currently dealing with tirerack about replacing the wheels since i had all 4 tires replaced already. they are NOT being cool about this AT ALL.

the car drove perfect till the 19's went on the car.

My experience and from talking to others - if your rims are not hub-centric, you'll never get a completely smooth ride. I don't think Tire Rack sells hub-centric rims for the GS - I think all the rims they sell are 'generic' hub sizes so you always need centering rings.

With my 19" HREs, the ride is a bit uneven for the first 10 miles until the tires warm up, then it's real smooth at all speeds.

I'm rolling 20" HREs and Yokohama AVS Sport... smooooth as glass, brother! NO vibration!
Your tires are balanced... are they round?

This sounds like a silly question, but if they are worn or feathered, this will exacerbate any imbalance/out-of-round condition.

im on 19" Volks and i dont have any vibrations...at least nothing that i have noticed....and my alignment is off...my steeringwheel does tend to pull in certain directions when it hits a minor inconsistency in the road tho.

I have 19' Volks as well and my steering wheel vibrates like crazy because it wasn't properly mounted and balanced. You should really get that checked out. It sucks to drive with the steering wheel vibrating.
