Question about front wheel hub race seal?
I've had a roaring sound in the front of end of my car since I bought it. It sounds just like in this video at around the 4:11 mark (
). It sounds like the bearing so I'm about to try and replace the front right wheel hub and bearing and had a question about the race seals???
In this tutorial (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...acement-2.html) he cut the spindle. I bought this hub (https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...7614&jsn=10385) and this bearing (https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...7614&jsn=10367) and was wondering if I could just get the old bearing pressed out of the knuckle and put these new parts in?
I appreciate any help!

You'd have to press the old hub out of the bearing, remove snap ring, press bearing out of hub, clean everything, install seals, press new bearing in, install snap ring, press new hub in, and torque hub to spec.
If you're installing a brand new hub, then you won't have to cut the race seals. That step is only necessary if you want to reinstall the old hub.
