Default R1 Concepts Brake Calipers

Hello, I have a 2007 IS250 RWD and I try to do IS350 front brake upgrade. Have any one use R1 Concepts Brake Calipers? Compare with A1 Cardone remanufactured brake calipers, which brand is more reliable?

Thanks

R1 Concepts are good. Had them on previous cars and some of my friends too.

Want to mention our OEM replacement brake calipers are 100% brand new and not re-built or re-manufactured. Here's more information regarding these calipers:

So are the IS350 4-pot replacement an exact copy of the Avics? Would like to see an actual photo? $160 isn’t bad per caliper new with no core trade issues.

May I get the year and sub-model of the IS350 to see if we have replacement calipers for that specific model?

2006-2013 IS350, same calipers as 2007-2013 GS350 and Gs430.

Unfortunately we do not have replacement calipers for those specific models.

that make the OP decision easier. He wanted to upgrade to the 4-pot IS350 calipers and rotors.

I’d say a remanufactured or rebuilt 350 caliper should be fine. Roughly $100 with a core return(return your 250s). Probably beats used salvaged ones that you need to buy new seals for anyway.

I tried thay before in my Honda days on Legend 2-pot, the seals (only OEM) cost more than rebuilds.
