Post Need help with spring/shock combo

I recently got a set of B&G S2 springs for the 93-98 MK4 Supra for a good deal, but I haven't been able to decide on what shocks I should go with that are the best bang for the buck. I was able to get my hands on a pair of front Tokico blues for the SC, but I'm still not sure if they're compatible with the B&G after reading a bunch of posts. Suggestions and advice on where and what to purchase are definitely welcome. Thanks!

If you springs are for the Supra, you also need shocks/struts from the Supra. Supra springs don't sit right on SC shocks/struts. Hope that helps!

Rear shocks need to be for a Supra due to B&G rear springs are designed for Supra. They have a smaller lower diameter and won’t seat properly on a SC rear shocks larger lower spring perch.

@RudysSC @shajbot
Between the 93-98 Supras is there a difference? On RockAuto, it doesn't offer the GR-2 for anything beyond '93. And would you go with either of these sets or should I just go for a coilovers like the Tein street advance from Driftmotion?

I would recommend a performance strut for the Supra B&G springs. The GR-2s are mainly designed as an OEM replacement part. Those Supra B&Gs will be fairly low when installed on an SC.

I recommend the Blistiens shocks set for the Supra. I have them on my SC with Eibach springs for the Supra, rides great.
They also have grooves which allow for 2 different height settings.

Are there these extra grooves on original Supra TT Bilsteins shocks?

I think I might opt for Tein Street Advance Z instead and try to sell the B&G's and Tokico Blues that I have, mainly for the flexibility in ride, unless I can find a really good deal on Blisteins from another user or Ebay.
