Hey guys relatively new to the scene, and ive been doing alot of research, especially on intellexual.net, just wanted to get a few things set straight. As far as lowering springs goes, obviously i can look for ones that are made for the SC3/4. However i also read that you can use springs made for the MK4 supra as well. Would it matter if its TT or N/A. Also if i were to get springs produced for the supra, would i still be able to use Struts/shocks made for the SC or get supra shocks as well? Fianlly, if i do have to get the supra shocks/struts. Would they bolt up right into place w/ no modification? Thanks in advance.

Proud New owner of a 93' SC4.

 

SC shocks only take SC springs. Supra springs would require supra shocks.

Supra lowering springs drop the SC ~0.7" lower than they would a Supra.

As for compatibility, all 94-98 Supra shocks are a straight Toyota for Toyota swap. Modifications are not needed.

The front will take Supra Springs with SC shocks. The rear will require supra springs and supra shocks.

So basically i could get a set of kyb's fronts for an sc and rears for a supra and everything would come together (just for arguments sake, when i do get it ill probably just go supra all around)

regarding the difference between TT and N/A, 99% sure the TTs will ride a tad higher than the N/A springs(someone confirm for the exta 1%). I have yet to see someone run with N/A springs on their SC as the majority run the TTs.

srry if im thread jacking a bit , but does anyone know the spring rates for the N/A springs?
