'08 IS220D - Reasonable lowering

Default '08 IS220D - Reasonable lowering

Hi guys, I have a '08 IS220D and I want to lower it for 2 main reasons which are
1. Better handling in corners
2. Looks

So far, I've been considering just changing the springs with a set of sport springs but if I am to do this I want to make it proper, so I've been thinking about the Koni Sport Kit (https://www.koni.com/en-US/Cars/Prod...ing/Sport-Kit/) which should make the car more responsive and also should improve the looks of it by lowering with 3.5cm and they are not really expensive (1000Euros for the set). If you ever done this what would kind of setup would you recommend? Changing the shocks and the springs or just the springs on the stock shocks? What brand, what settings, etc. I must mention that I don't want the car to be really stiff, I would like it to be reasonably comfortable and more direct in handling.

Given that the stock suspension is almost 10 years old and probably has a lot of miles on it I'd get a whole new shock and spring combo / coilover system.
