Default Replace struts or boots? 2006 AWD 250

So after attempting to do a brake job myself, I pulled off the tires and noticed my front right CV axle a boot was gone and needed it replaced. Took it to a shop and got it done. Now once again I take off my front tires and noticed my boot on both my struts are ripped off.. how long can I ride this until payday? And what exactly would I need to replace this? IE struts & boots? Or is there a whole assembly I need. I'm at 136k.

The boot is to keep dust and stuff off the strut piston...which is mostly preventative and doesn't affect much.

Back in my Honda days...we never ran the boots when we installed springs or coilover springs and it was fine for years.
