Default Anything wrong with aftermarket axles for 09 IS250AWD?

So i need new axles on my AWD. Lexus axles, even the remanufactured ones, are way more expensive then some aftermarket ones i've found. Is there really a difference? Am i safe going with aftermarket?

Well how long are you keeping the car? Are you lowered?

Well you can get cheap axles and get them replaced if they fail early but there's the installation costs and downtime to keep in mind. They should last you a while under normal driving conditions and since you aren't lowered they won't break prematurely. If you ever plan to lower the car I'd save the hassle and go with remanufactured axles instead of new, as for me they were about half the cost and keeps my peace of mind that it's still an OEM part per say. I personally went remanufactured to save costs and because I don't really want to deal with getting new axles in the near future.

Thanks. Also its not all the axles. Just the Left Front and Left Rear. The right side are OEM. Any issue with running mixed brand axles?

I had mine rebuilt.

ABout the same price as the cheap branded ones, but lifetime warranty.

My sister's car has 2 torn boots both front, and a "leak" in the rear right axle. Shop she took it to for tires wanted ~$800 installed for front CV axles. When I had her ask about rebuilding them they said it would be just as expensive as buying OEM, which would double the cost. Not sure if they would use aftermarket parts or remanufactured.
