Caliper bolts?
Ok one more question. If you saw my last post o had to replace my calipers since one siezed up. I had taken them off to paint since I was replacing he rotors and pads. I read somewhere that the service manual says to replace the bolts too so I bought all new bolts. I didn't know the caliper was siezed until I bolted them up and I torqued the new bolts down. Are these bolts torque to yield bolts like on an engine block? Should I get new ones again or reuse the ones that were on for less than a week and never driven on but torqued to spec?
Thanks

Bolts that go into the bottom holes attaching the whole assembly to the car. On my phone now but can give you Lexus part no when I get back to work.

Sooo...I went and searched for the thread I saw, it's for the LS not the IS D'oh! Bolts for those calipers go through the caliper and thread into an aluminum knuckle, and are probabaly stretch bolts. Ours go through the bracket on the hub and thread into the caliper which I'm assuming is steel. So unless someone can tell me otherwise I'll assume I'll be fine reusing them, but we all know what they say when you assume!

These aren't even the originals. Bought new ones at the dealer a week ago when I thought they were torque to yield bolts, put them on, found out caliper was siezed and took them off lol. I just figured since I'm basically rebuilding the entire rear brake system I don't want $4 bolts to be the weak point. I'll be reusing the ones I got a week ago.
