gs4will, you sure they need spring compressor? doesn't the coilover comes pre-assembled already and you just throw it in? i know my HA came like that so the installation was a breeze.

Guys if you pay $1150 you're paying too much.

I found it somewhere for $850 just doing a quick google search. www.shox.com has it listed for $899 and they beat the price of the other place $849. They had them in stock and shipped it to me 3 day.

030. Bilstein PSS Coil-Over Kit 1998 - 2002 Kit is ride height adjustable and contains mono-tube gas shocks and springs. 899.00 Add to Wish list

Here's the place I found it for $850... I didn't order from them because they're less of a name than shox.com (at least to my knowledge, I'd heard of the other guys).

AND note that I haven't even seen my car or driven it with them on yet... I had to leave town for work and it's still sitting at the suspension shop (parking it inside at night).

I'll do a first impressions writeup after I get behind the wheel.

A spring compressor is needed to be safe when u take off the top mounts to use on the new coilovers. There are ghetto ways of doing it without a spring compressor. Its just safer with it...

Also, a pry bar will be needed.. trust me... the rear without the pry bar became a ***** and a half... just use caution on what parts u PRY! hahahaha

Use a torque wrench, be sure to check the reinstall of the self-leveler if u have HIDs, also, POWER TOOLS!!! hahahha

Let us know your thoughts of the PSS kit. I've had mine for about 600 miles now. Once I hit 1000 i'll adjust the ride height and get an alignment. I'm really happy with tthe way the car rides now and my only concern is that the PSS has a conservative drop (i think it's 1.8" all around), but i suppose that's still very streetable and it'll
look better than stock ride height.

btw, i picked mine up for $850 from rod millen motorsports.

I think $850 is still a little high. I know where you can get em for $825 shipped.
