Default BC/Swift coilover spring rate question

Hey everyone,

Had a general question about a certain set up. I had originally ordered a 12k and 10k setup, but I was mistakenly given a 14k and 12k setup with swift springs. I do not want to lower the car much because I have a lot of passengers consistently.

Is it possible to still get a comfortable daily driver from this spring rate set up if not lowered by much? Or am I better off returning the product, and getting the 12k and 10k setup for a comfortable ride? At the moment my OEM shocks are leaking, so I wanted a replacement, but if I can get away with a nice ride on 14k and 12k I will keep them. If anyone can chime in, that would be great.

With you mentioning the fact that you often have alot of passengers, I'd say you'll end up enjoying what you're given due to the fact that of the additional weigh added to the vehicle. Just play with the dampening a bit and you'll enjoy them.

Did you pay for the Swift spring upgrade? Sounds like you got a $200 upgrade for free if you didn't.

Actually I ordered them with the swift springs lol. I went ahead and installed the 14k 12k set up. Smooth most of the time. Need to play with the set up. It's currently at 16 clicks each, right in the middle.

If anyone has any suggestions on set ups with these rates? Feel free to chime in. Might stiffen up the front and back tomorrow and ride around. I'll post pics soon.

The more weigh you add, the more smooth your ride will be.

Loosen up the setup to 14 up front and 10 in the rear. Report back.

Blondies Pizza or Fat Slice? You got $4.25 and it's standing room only...

Keep us updated on the setting you feel worked out best here

Thanks! Lol I've actually only been to pizza moda and cheeseboard, havnt check those places out. But running the same set up, it's getting better after the past 2 to 3 days. I think I like it, very tolerable and I'm pretty particular of my ride. Smooth, sportier, and decent under rough roads. Glad I took the risk.
