Default New brakes and rotors IS250AWD

I'm in desperate need of new brakes and rotors. The dealership wanted too charge me $1700 for the repairs. I am buying a new car in the coming months so i don't want to spend so much so declined the repairs. I also need new rotors because they seized up. I thought this would have been covered by my warranty but they declined it because they don't cover damage due too weather and rust. I went on to tire rack for some parts. Im going to order them and take them too a local shop that can do it for much cheaper. Are the parts i choose good parts? Is this everything i need and will it fit properly?

I included picture of my old brakes and the parts i selected from tire rack. subtotal of $543. Lexus was charging me $500 for just a caliper...

If I were you, I would check rock auto. For centric rotors and akebono pads front and back it came out to be around $250. As for calipers they're about $107 each and you get back around $50 for the core per caliper.. I'm not sure how quickly you need parts, but rock auto might save you a hundred bucks or two, and there's also usually a 5% discount code floating around online.

You are definitely going to save money going that route. Make sure you return the old calipers to get any core charges.

I am currently doing an upgrade to all four brakes and it might cost me $1000 when all said and done. Putting IS/GS350 rotors and calipers with akebono pads on my IS250 AWD.

So are you ordering the IS350 calipers from rockauto too? and if so, do you give them back the IS250 calipers in return for the core charge?
I'm also looking at upgrading the front brakes on the IS250awd and want to know if people have done this before.

I went through partsgeek. I have about a month to return. I can't recommend them until everything is setting. I should have all work done this weekend. Then will send back for equivalent IS250 caliper core charges.

It seems that one of the new front calipers is leaking. So will have to get a replacement. Still brakes awesome just some some fluid loss. I guess this is more common with aluminum calipers.

Hard to say. Never had anything from Brembo. The Akebono pads are as advertised; very low dust and solid, consistant bite. Only like 50 miles of experience however.

Yup, most stuff bought from Parts geek. Some calipers come with hardware clips but some do not so check on that. Good luck!
